The series focuses on England, especially in the North West with images from Ribblehead Viaduct in North Yorkshire, Queens Park suspension bridge, Old Dee Bridge & Eastgate at Chester, Preston Docks swing bridge, Six Arches bridge crossing the River Wyre Scorton near Garstang, Marine Way Bridge dominating the Southport skyline, Ashness Bridge over Barrow Beck as it flows into Derwent Water, Chinese bridge spanning the River Derwent, the Runcorn Bridges (Runcorn Railway Bridge & the Silver Jubilee Bridge), and the Nineteen Arches bridge at Carr Mill Dam near St Helens. Bridges from elsewhere in the UK include the Monsal Head viaduct, Menai Suspension Bridge, pack horse bridges in the Peak District, Whitby swing bridge, Ironbridge in Shropshire, Beddgelert Bridge spanning the River Colwyn, Conwy Suspension Bridge, Footbridge into the Selfridges Building in Birmingham, Ladybridge in Tamworth where the River Tame and River Anker meet in Staffordshire, and then from London there’s the Camden Lock bridge, Millennium Bridge, Tower Bridge & Westminster Bridge backed by the Houses of Parliament.

My favourite images of Conwy or Conway, a medieval town on the North Wales coast which is home to Conwy Castle. Pretty boats of differing sizes line the River Conwy estuary in front of the quaint harbour allowing foreground interest in many seascapes whilst the ancient walls & battlements dominate the Conwy skyline.
British wildlife
My favourite images of British wildlife seen throughout England & Wales including insects, sea birds, birds, owls, water birds such as the goose, duck, swan, deer, marine life & many more. The collection comprises images of the Northern Gannet, Cormorant, Sea Gull, Canada Goose, Mallard Duck, Moorhen, Otter, Dragonfly, Burnet moth, Damselfly, Mute Swan, Fallow deer, Bar-headed Goose, Trumpeter Swan, Robin, Red Squirrel, Common Grey Squirrel, Kestrel, Black Swan, Pigeon, Peacock, Great Grey Owl & Grey Seal.
Sefton coastline
My favourite images of the Sefton coastline & the Sefton Coastal Path. Beginning at Waterloo & stretching as far north as the seaside town of Southport, the Sefton coast is a "site of special scientific interest" & is home to rare butterflies, wild orchids, sand lizards, waders & natterjack toads. The southern point at Crosby beach is home to Another Place, the art installation created & modelled on sculptor Antony Gormley where 100 Iron Men look out into the Irish Sea, backed by sand dunes. Central parts of the coastline are made up from Hightown & Formby, before you reach Ainsdale, Birkdale then finally Southport.

Royal Liver Building
My favourite images of the Royal Liver Building which has stood proudly on the Liverpool waterfront for more than one hundred years. The Liverbirds are a symbol of Liverpool but none of them are as famous of recognisable as the ones which stand on the Liverpool waterfront - one overlooking the city and the other facing the River Mersey and beyond. Indeed Bertie & Bella are the largest Liver Birds in the city. The Royal Liver Building makes up the Three Graces which also include the Cunard Building & the Port of Liverpool Building.
HMS Prince of Wales
My favourite images of the Royal Navy second Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier, HMS Prince of Wales (R09). She visited Liverpool for a week in 2018 & was positioned proudly on the Liverpool waterfront where she dominated the Liverpool skyline. She has since passed sea trails & will be embarking on various missions & deployments for many decades to come working alongside helicopters & the new F35 Stealth fighter.
F-35 Stealth Fighter
My favourite images of the F35 Stealth fighter, now serving many air forces around the world including the Royal Air Force & the United States Air Force which feature in this collection. The F-35 Stealth aircraft also goes under the name of JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) & the F35 Lightning II.
Porthmadog
My favourite images of Porthmadog, the pretty harbour town on the Glaslyn Estuary dominated by The Cob, Ffestiniog Railway & pretty boats by the quay - all backed by the mountain landscape of Snowdonia National Park. This stretch of the North Wales coast marks the beginning of the Llyn Peninsula which juts out Westerly into the Irish Sea.
Monsal Trail
My favourite images of the Monsal trail on the Peak District running from Blackwell Mill, in Chee Dale and Coombs Road, at Bakewell. The former Midland Railway line is now a popular bridleway used by walkers, cyclists & horse riders who cross the viaducts & pass through the disused tunnels.
West Kirby
My favourite images of West Kirby on the Wirral peninsula. West Kirby is a popular seaside location & is the starting place for walking out to Hilbre Islands in the Dee Estuary. It is also home to Marine Lake or marina known as West Kirby Marine Lake where people enjoy either walking around the perimeter at low tide or watersports on the lake itself.
Luzzu fishing boats
My favourite images of the Maltese boats known as the Luzzu which is a traditional fishing boat from Malta coloured mainly in yellows & blues with beautiful eyes on the bows known as the eye of Osiris which are said to protect the fishermen who sail in them. The images were taken in coastal locations through the island of Malta, sometimes bobbing along the crystal clear waters & also seen around the outside of Mggar, Marsaxlokk & Valletta being repainted.
Leeds Liverpool canal
My favourite images of the Leeds Liverpool canal. This canal is the longest in Britain with a length of 127 miles. The majority of images are taken on the Western stretch narrow boats leave Liverpool at the Royal Albert Dock, passing the Three Graces at Pier Head, then into passing Rufford, Burscough & into East Lancashire before crossing the Pennines & edge of the Yorskhire Dales before reaching Leeds.
Blue hour & twilight
My favourite images taken during the blue hour & twilight. This period of the day is one of my favourite times to capture images as the camera is able to capture the colours & hues in the sky long after the human eye can. Images taken before sunrise & after sunset include Liverpool, Chester, Tamworth, Caernarfon, Dubrovnik, Cuba, Costa Rica, London, Vienna & Bratislava.
Royal Albert Dock
My favourite images of the Royal Albert Dock on the Liverpool waterfront. Liverpool docks dominated global trade in the 19th century but the Albert Dock fell into disrepair until the entire area was regenerated from the early 2000's & nowadays it's home to trendy bars, restaurants & shops. In 2018 it was given a Royal status, hence the name Royal Albert Dock.
