Back in 2001 when I first started using digital cameras, I found it really difficult to show my friends and family my art. In the beginning, I just sent my images via email, but many email clients would not display images. So after much frustration, I found that the best way to display my photography was by using a web page. So I registered www.photo4me.com in Oct 2002.

After a couple of months friends and friends of friends wanted to buy some of my work, so I added a shopping cart. I spent time printing and shipping prints to friends but after a while I suddenly thought would other photographers be interested in using my site to sell their photography?

In October 2013, just after moving from Montréal to London, Michael joined the Photo4me team. Starting off as a customer services representative, he maintains the highest standard of customer care, satisfaction with passion as he believes our customers deserve. Michael oversees the operation of the business in its entirety.

A community is born
After time my reluctant Father joined me in selling his work on my new site. It meant that I would have to scan and upload some of his old images, he was not interested in the new digital era... After a year I then added the ability for anyone to join for free and start selling their photography.

where are we now?
Fast forward 22 years later and now serving over 10,000 happy customers from as far as Los Angeles, USA to Auckland, NZ, we continue to have the highest standards of customer service and product manufacturing.
