Timang beach, an adventure and challenge for everybody! Collection
Timang beach, also called Pantai Timang, is a rocky coastal beach on Java Island in Indonesia. Very big waves and stormy sea is usual here. If that is not enough, they connected the rock edge with a small rock island in the ocean with an antique cable car and swinging rope foot bridge. Passing over with each of this two old transportation systems is on itself already a challenge, but get overwhelming fear instilling, when a big wave hits the bridge or cable car. Beside that the coastal scenery remembering the movie The Pirates of the Caribbean.

Batu Caves with other eyes.
Here are unexpected 44 view from the Hindu temple Batu Caves near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Maybe later I upload that usual motifs, too. Btw: Batu means stone. The flowing stone wall is smooth and remember us marble stones. The dripstone motifs sometimes looks like historical old cave painting with motifs like human faces or gnomes and trolls. We often meet abstract shapes, sometimes sculptures by nature. There are so many detail motifs.

My beloved Indonesia landscapes mostly seascapes. Most location could be reached by a day trip from Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia. Lots of nice and hidden beaches can be visited in the area of Gunung Kidul. and of course the gunung means mountains and lakes and waterfalls, too. Names from beaches in this collections until now are: Parangtritis, Timang, Kasap, Kukup, Watu Lumbung, Midodaren, Baron, ... and the waterfall sungai Mudal and the Vulcan Merapi. Not yet: the obviously most relevant travel destinations like Bali, Borobudur, Bromo, Prambanan, Lombok. But maybe soon. I am now adding square format versions from many of my images. Quit please! Silence! I have a secret. A Balinese mask shows with finger on mouth that we should be quit. Maybe it has a secret for us? Original it is a fridge magnet from Bali, Indonesia. I edit these photos digital. Some look like painting, others just like digital art. All have full colors, are multicolored, some more decent pastel like water color.

Kasap & Kukup beach on Java Island in Indonesia
Kasap and Kukup are neighbor beaches and often busy visited from locals. Beside that Kasap has also a hidden lagoon beach - see pictures. Both belongs to the Gunung Kidul area, which is just one to two hours drive away from Yogyakarta on Java Island in Indonesia.

Mirrored collage project 2 Steel Glass Ceiling
Like in my Mirrored collage project 1 I took one of my original photography of a ceiling closeup, edit it to more blue motion, cropped it to square format and then put this last example as basic for all follow up photography together in collage style - including mirrored effect AND the effect of increasing rooms with deep depth effect. These great pattern of symmetric geometrical shapes from an modern architecture detail of a roof dome makes it easy.
Georgetown with other eyes.
Some expected and many unexpected motifs from Georgetown OR George Town on Penang Island in Malaysia. The city also written George Town. A great area for photographer with lots of great motifs. Ancient buildings, street art, murals, culture performance, music and theater.
Buddha temple in Bangkok Krun Thep
The well known historical Wat Pho Buddha temple complex in Bangkok Krun Thep is visited regularly from many tourists. Parts of it are Phra Chedi Rai and Phra Rabiang cloisters with its stupa and pagoda for the ashes of the Royal family Rama I. You can find here also bas reliefs and stone sculptures from this Buddhist temple.
Midodaren beach.
It might be a hidden surfing paradise with its fast waves, which are often enough big enough for surfing. But for sure you have to know where are rocks, which might be dangerous. But there are also safe areas for surfing. But surfer are still rare here. Midodaren has more than one beach and other beaches are also very close. It belongs to the Gunung Kidul area, just an hour or two away from Yogyakarta on Java Island in Indonesia.
Sculpture abstract shapes art by nature, pareidolia motifs.
72 abstract shapes. Nature works like a sculptor artist and creates sculptures like human or animal faces and bodies by fluvial erosion at sea shores or by other natural growth. Here are pareidolia examples from unusual sculptures from rock stones, plants part and later more. The examples from Parangtritis beach on Java Island in Indonesia cannot find anywhere: Nobody else got the idea to take a shot of it or like these rock stone examples: The motifs disappeared under two meter sand carried from the sea water. That place was inspiring me to search for more pareidolias - one of my new passions.

Sungai Mudal river with its waterfall and turquoise water.
The turquoise water and waterfalls are the beauty of Mudal river. Even the waterfall ends in a river, it should called waterfall, which passing endless stone and rock cascades. It is located on Java Island in Indonesia, Asia and can be a daytrip from Yogyakarta.
* Mirror Collage Project 1 "Dog snout on cave wall"
Mirror Collage Project 1 "Dog snout on cave wall". In this collection you can follow one by one and step by step, how I used a squared format from my abstract image Dog Snout on cave wall and copy paste it in mirror collage style. The results also surprised me very much: I got nice Triptych and panorama formats, later XXL square and much more. But most surprising: The dog snout already appears on the cave wall like a cave painting, but it is NOT! It just got captured as a macro closeup from an interesting abstract shape on the cave wall and later on on my PC this dog snout appears. After many mirror collages new motifs appear like Darth Vader and Yoda from star wars and a Materphal motif inside of beautiful and decorative ornats. Already in the collection: Basic square format, double dog snout by mirror collage, this one turned upside down with Darth Vader appears, mirrored again as XXL square format, Darth Vader - Yoda - panorama, same in XXL double mirrored, ..., Triptych double, COMPLETE!
Lagoon sand beach called Baron on Java, Indonesia.
Lagoon sand beach called Baron on Java, Indonesia. it is flanked from mountains and big green rocks or cliffs. Locals like swimming here and eating fresh caught fish with the blue fisher boats. Foreign tourists are rare and usually the ones, who study in Yogyakarta as student exchange or who is working and living here. Baron beach is one of many beaches located in Gunung Kidul area, a mountain between the coast and Yogyakarta. Coastal features are many here with many rock islands and plateaus and big waves - good for hidden surfing paradises.
Wediombo beach with its rocks and big waves.
Wediombo beach belongs to the Gunung Kidul area, just one to two hours away from Yogyakarta on Java island in Indonesia. This beach has a beautiful sand beach and a big part are rocks fighting against very big waves crashing all time in stormy way. Even this collection is still small, but I create it, because I have much more from this place.
Parangtritis beach offers each time new motifs.
Parangtritits beach is 45 minutes away from Yogyakarta on Java Island in Indonesia. I started here with my second photography carrier and find each new time new motifs. It is a wide wide sand beach with great reflection on the water and wet sand, especially at sunset. but it has also some rocks with interesting formation and you will find here many photography from rocks and stones formed like sculptures, often now hidden under 2 meter sand. So these sculptor art by nature you will not find anywhere, they are unique. For me the most famous rock formation is the stack which looks like a sitting bird looking to the sea. Sunrises and Sunsets mostly on the beach
Wonderful tranquil scenes captured while sunrise and sunset dawn with yellow, orange, red and blue sky at golden hour and blue hour and after glow. In this collection most locations are at sand beaches or rocky coasts. Coastal scenes are on of my favorite motifs and easy for me to find because I am staying in the tropical country Indonesia on java island close to Gunung Kidul area with so many small and tranquil beaches. The biggest city close to them called Yogyakarta. I am now adding square format versions from many of my images. If you love Indonesia and especially Yogyakarta, then you probably visited the main sightseeing like Borobudur, Prambanan, Kraton, the sultan palace and of course the Jalan Malioboro, the shopping street in Yogyakarta. If you come again to Yogyakarta and want to see more sights that are rarely visited from foreigners, because they do not know about it or just do not have enough time, then see the examples here from Parangtritis beach to beaches, waterfalls (later also temples) in Gunung Kidul area and other destinations.
