Hello, my name is Bob. I have been photographing since my college days 77-81, when I owned a Cannon A-1. In those days, I spent many sunny weekends taking shots of old barns, waterfalls and landscapes in North East Alabama. During that time I also was able to learn to work in the dark room at a Hobby and Craft Shop, processing my own black and white film, and eventually color, and making my own prints. Since that time, with 20 years of active duty service in the US Navy and 8 years of ongoing service as an airline pilot, I have traveled the world over and taken thousands of pictures along the way.
My first camera, the A-1 is a historically significant camera. It was the first SLR to offer an electronically controlled programmed autoexposure mode. Since then I have owned and operated extensively, and still own the EOS-1, EOS-1N, EOS10D, EOS Rebel T2i, and EOS-60D. I witnessed the transition to SLR digital with the EOS-1N. The EOS-60D I use today is an amazing camera.
