Neolithic Circles & Standing Stones Collection
The greatest legacy our prehistoric Neolithic ancestors have left us are the great standing stone circles, and stone dolmen burial chambers, found in the British Isles and Brittany. One can only marvel at how stone age man cut the great stones, then moved them, finally standing them to make great stone circles. Stonehenge is a marvel of stone masonry, logistical transport and engineering which came together in an iconic design that is known throughout the world. Hot Air Balloons Over Cappadocia
One of the most popular tourist sites in Turkey are the wonderful fairy chimney rock formations of Cappadocia at sunrise seen from a hot air balloon. Every sunrise hundreds of hot air balloons rise above Cappadocia and float amongst stunning towering rock pillars known as fairy chimneys. Inside many of these were built cave houses, churches and even monasteries where early Christian came to escape persecution.
